Students can pursue a BS in Agriculture with a major in Plant Pathology, and select a specialization in Plant Microbiology or Plant Health Management.
Students in both majors complete a Minor and an Internship of the student's choice to enhance and personalize their degree program. We have many resources to help you find an internship to match your interests.

Which Specialization Should I Choose? | The Plant Microbiology specializationcurriculum is similar to Plant Health Management, but includes coursework in microbiology and genetics for students interested in the biology of disease and cellular/molecular biology. | Coursework includes management of diseases, insects, weeds and other pests for those interested in careers in production, crop consulting and related areas (see list of potential careers below) |
