Research Area
I study the biochemical defense responses of Austrian pine to infection with the shoot blight and canker pathogen Diplodia pinea. Furthermore, I am examining the effects of abiotic factors such as nutrient availability and drought stress on induced defenses responses. My work serves as a model system for inducible defenses of trees to pathogens. > Bonello Lab
