PLNTPTH 5005
The study of beneficial interactions between plants and microorganisms and its applications. This course will equip students with an understanding of the phylogenetic and functional diversity of microorganisms associated to plants, the factors influencing beneficial plant-microbial interaction establishment, and the relevance of managing these interactions in different environments. A basic course in plant biology can also fulfil the prerequisite.
Prereq: 3001, Micrbio 4000, or 4100, or permission of instructor.
