Our department spans basic research in molecular genetics to applied aspects of disease and pest management.
Programs focus on commodities such as cereal grains, soybeans, turfgrass, ornamentals, forage, fruits and vegetables.
Disciplines include fungal pathology, biological control, integrated pest management, environmental sciences, organic agriculture, genetics, bacteriology, mycology, virology, genomics, diagnostics and epidemiology.
