(Biochemistry Biochem 511) Introduction to Biological Chemistry (U G 5 cr)
An introductory course in biochemistry dealing with the molecular basis of structure and metabolism of plants, animals, and microorganisms. Su, Au, Wi, Sp quarters. 5 cl. Prereq: Chem 123 and 252, and 2 qtrs of biological sciences. The organic chemistry requirement may also be satisfied by Chem 231 with a grade of at least C. This course is available for EM credit.
