Plant pathology, or the study of plant disease, is integral to the agricultural, biological and/or environmental sciences.

The Department of Plant Pathology has one of the few undergraduate degree programs in the country.  We offer an undergradate major in Plant Health Management and a minor in Plant Pathology.  Students take basic core science plus courses in plant pathology, horticulture, soil science and related courses.

Excellent courses, internships and work experience opportunities are available.  We also have an outstanding scholarship program for Plant Health Management majors.  We invite you to explore the many opportunities in the Department of Plant Pathology!
