Future Graduate Students
Our Research, Teaching and Extension programs focus on the biology and management of plant disease and plant health. We invite you to explore our programs.
We offer MS and PhD degree programs in Plant Pathology. Students can pursue areas ranging from basic molecular research, to applied aspects of disease management.
Students may choose to study turfgrass, ornamentals, field crops, fruits, vegetables, forest pathology, fungal pathology, biological control and integrated pest management, as well as specialize in disciplines such as bacteriology, mycology, virology, genomics, diagnostics and epidemiology.
| Our fifteen faculty are based in two locations: eight are based on the main campus in Columbus, Ohio, and seven are located at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster, Ohio, approx. 100 miles (160 km) northwest of Columbus. | ![]() |
