Rowe, Randall C.

Randy Rowe was appointed in 1974 to the OARDC Wooster campus, where his work focused on research and extension in management of vegetable crop diseases, soil-borne fungal diseases and development of improved disease management practices, particularly in potatoes.  Randy Rowe served as Department Chair from 1996 until his retirement in 2006.  He is a past president of the American Phytopathological Society (1992-1993), and currently serves as Treasurer.  In his retirement, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and his hobbies such as birding.  He still maintains involvement in various plant pathology projects.
